- You can now use picklists within batch index fields that are Table data types.
- Workflow IXM enhancements:
- The AssignEX IXM has been enhanced to include additional target and source index fields. This allows greater flexibility for modifying batch and/or document index values.
- The CreateBatch IXM now has an option to copy all of the history from the originating batch into the child batch.
- The “Completed” batches on the Assigned work tab are grouped by batch profile. The batch profile names are now sorted alphabetically for easier navigation on larger systems.
- The client extension API has been expanded to include the ability to highlight a specified rectangle in the viewer. This allows custom extensions to draw attention to any area of the image.
- The system batch index, CreatedUser, is now available for use within database lookups.
- Annotation enhancements:
- The image redaction markup tool now allows users to choose any color for the markup.
- The text annotation now retains the user’s last used color for the duration of their session.
- Enhanced logging for the ILINX Database upgrade utility.

- This enhanced ILINX Capture add-on product allows you to super-charge your business processes by automating the extraction and verification of fixed-form information. ILINX Fixed-Form Capture leverages the same underlying technology as ILINX Advanced Capture (see related section) and provides for structured content (fixed-form) field extraction including handwriting, machine print, check boxes, barcodes, and more.

- The ILINX 8.5 Advanced Capture product has been significantly enhanced for this release. Please refer to the ILINX Advanced Capture Admin Guide and User Guide for additional details.
- ILINX Advanced Capture now provides an even more powerful solution for automated classification of documents and data extraction based upon a combination of both unsupervised and supervised learning of document types. Classification and extraction capabilities support multiple content types and handle various data formats such as: handwriting, machine print, check boxes, barcodes, and more. Classification and extraction can be performed on:
- Structured content (fixed-forms)
- Semi-structured content
- Unstructured content
- The ILINX Advanced Capture product also delivers a new and improved Studio application for building your optimal document processing solution.

- Document options: Append pages to the existing document, Prepend pages to the existing document, Check-in a new version of the document (major version), Do not modify the document.

- You can now copy application security permissions from one group and paste them onto a different group. This speeds up the process of configuring application security when you have a large number of groups.

- Import now has a “Run Now” option on the configuration interface. This allows you to execute any Import job on demand.
- Several new capabilities for importing into ILINX Content Store. You can now configure Import to search Content Store for a given set of index values and then perform operations on the document and on the document’s index values. If an existing Content Store document is found, you now have the following options:
